About.

Elise Cochrane

I’m a seeker of new places and experiences, singer, salsa dancer, plant enthusiast, and ocean dweller.

About Me

I'm an idea-enthusiast with an understanding of business. My skill set is diverse, starting out in the FMCG industry after studying B. Commerce (Liberal Studies), Marketing and Finance. A desire to focus on problem-solving and creative thinking spurred the transition into design, and a Masters in Interaction Design and Electronic Arts.

I spent almost two decades coaching and tutoring kids in Little Athletics, through school, and privately. Each has given me an invaluable understanding of what good leadership entails, and how to make sound decisions under pressure.

I have taken solo travel breaks throughout my life (my most recent in 2023), which have helped to broaden my understanding of humanity, and develop a love for new experiences. Professionally, this has enhanced my problem-solving, pragmatism and adaptability (and my proficiency in Spanish and French).

As a Snr UX Consultant, I worked both autonomously and collaboratively with a team of psychologists, in a fast-paced consulting environment. I utilised end-to-end design principles and practices across diverse projects, in industries such as finance, government, and startups, with a focus on research and UX design.
I consulted between Sitback and AKQA agencies from 2016 to 2019, with a one year travel break in the middle. Read more about this here
